Qigong (pronounced: chee-gung) is a Chinese system of physical exercises and breathing control related to T’ai Chi.
From Wikipedia:
Physically, slow gentle qigong movements warm tendons, ligaments, and muscles; tone vital organs and connective tissue; and promote circulation of body fluids (blood, synovial, lymph).
Health benefits from Qigong and Tai Chi come about both by supporting the body’s natural tendency to return to balance and also gently creating strength, flexibility and balance in the muscles and joints through flowing movements.
