About The Cause

The Cause is a multi-purpose Music and Arts venue in Chippenham, Wiltshire. We host a variety of weekly activities including dance, yoga, choirs, band rehearsals, meetings, functions and workshops. The venue is privately funded and its aim is to support Music, Art and community activities, at the same time sustaining and conserving the historic buildings for the enjoyment of future generations.

The Cause has a range of facilities, including a kitchen and fully licensed bar (available at concerts and some events) and is wheelchair accessible with a toilet for disabled.

Rag & Bone Arts

Come and join a lovely bunch of local budding thespians, who like to mess about, play games, take part in drama exercises and generally have fun together!

If you have always wanted to try some drama, but are not sure that you want to commit, just pop in and do the bits that you want to, or just watch for a session. We’d love you to join us – and can guarantee that you’ll meet some brilliant and supportive people along the way.

Rag & Bone offer adult drama workshops on Monday nights. More information about drama classes for other age groups are on the Rag & Bone page.
