Bob Rudd

Bob Rudd was born in Suffolk in 1944 and studied at the Bath Academy of Art between 1969 and 1973, becoming a member of the Royal Society of Painters in Watercolours in 1995. He has exhibited extensively at galleries in London and throughout Britain, including solo exhibitions in London, Edinburgh and the Scilly Isles, collecting prestigious prizes including the Turner Watercolour Award in 2010.

His work is also displayed in public and corporate collections including the new parliamentary buildings at Westminster and the House of Lords. Bob Rudd is a painter of landscapes and buildings.

Maiden Voyage

Maiden Voyage are a Wiltshire-based band performing Jazz classics and soulful music. They regularly perform at The Cause and at the monthly Music Café; their next appearance will be on Friday 27 March 2020.

Songleader Alex Walker is a person of many talents, she leads three choirs at The Cause and painted a stunning mural for the hall.

Kingsley is a Songwriter and Storyteller resident in The Cause. In 2014, Kingsley wrote and directed Brotherhood: a play to commemorate the lives of local soldiers lost to the Great War.
